Charles was our Good News Phone Caller in September.

He was nominated by Mrs. Humpfer. She said,

"Charles has smiled each and every second of our first week. From the minute he walks in the room to the minute he leaves. He has done everything asked of him, even slowing down to color more. I am so excited for our year together!!! He has brought so much joy to our classroom!"

Way to go, Charles!

SCHEDULE UPDATE FOR FRIDAY
Due to the heat, we are making some schedule changes to the football games on Friday. FS Football Game will start at 6:00 PM - and we will run a continuous clock for that game The Varsity Game will start 40 min after the conclusion of the FS Game (approx. 7:45 pm)

Henry was our Good News Phone Caller in September!

He was nominated by Mr. Hauptly. He said,

"Henry came into the 2026 school year ready to learn. He has been very ambitious about his education already, completing each assignment and carefully checking for mistakes. He's been a very respectful listener to all adults in the building as we learned and practiced routines/procedures across the school. Henry has been extremely responsible with his own materials, his teacher's supplies, and the shared recess equipment. In just the first week of school I've caught Henry on multiple occasions helping others without being asked. (Picking up dropped supplies, repeating directions, helping with an assignment, etc.) It is very obvious that he doesn't do it for attention or for the hope of earning tickets, Henry does it because it's the right thing to do and to make his school community a better place. I feel very confident already that Henry will be a leader in 4th grade and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year with him in my class."

Way to go, Henry!

We had a SPECIAL birthday in the elementary this week, Principal Wright! Staff and students surprised her and held a walk-through in the hallways this afternoon to help her celebrate.

Students sang Happy Birthday, and gave her sweet cards along the way! It was a great day celebrating Mrs. Wright. Alburnett Elementary is lucky to her!
