Tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 8th at 6:00 PM, we will be conducting the annual Operation EDITH Drill. A brief city-wide siren will signal the start. Fire trucks with lights on will drive through town—please don’t be alarmed or call dispatch.

Show your family has reviewed and practiced your escape fire plan and checked your smoke and CO detectors by turning on your outside lights.

The 2025 Water Wars season has come to a close. Yesterday was in Waldorf where the 2 Alden Fire Department teams took 1st and 3rd place with Waldorf Fire Department taking 2nd. The Alden Fire Department Women also took 1st place in the Women’s Division. Thanks for everyone that came out and supported us this year!!

Thanks to Frost Fire Department for a great day at their water wars. Alden had 2 teams today that won 1st and 3rd place out of 18 teams. The Alden women also won 1st place.
