Join us on Thursday, May 28 at 6:30, to view 1967's, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, a landmark 1967 American romantic comedy-drama that explores in*******al marriage and social attitudes in the United States.

Crusading newspaper publisher Matt Drayton's (Spencer Tracy) liberal principles are put to the test when his daughter, Joey, announces her engagement to John Prentice (Sydney Poitier), an internationally renowned African American physician. While Matt's wife, Christina (Katharine Hepburn), readily accepts Joey's decision, Matt intends to withhold his consent, forgetting that when it comes to matters of the heart, true love is colorblind.

You may come to Gum Spring to grab books inside, but have you ever stopped to see what you can find outside of Gum Spring? All of these photos were taken just outside our building!

As the weather gets warmer, we encourage you to come to the library not just for books... but also to catch a glimpse of some of our animal friends! Baby season is in full swing, so you may find baby turtles, goslings, ducklings... Who knows what else?

And while you're here, you might as well check out some of our awesome programs for kids, teens and adults too, right?
