Twas the night before summer reading🦖📚; the library is quiet and ready!

When you visit, you might notice some of our usual spots have moved. We have shifted some of our spaces, so when you enter the library, your first stop to return books📚 is now between our holds area and the computer stations💻. Returning books here allows us to get your account ready for your next selections! Our summer reading space 😎, where you can register for summer reading📖⛱️, participate in our read & bead📿, and redeem rewards later in the summer is on the other side of the copier. Our puzzle table🧩 relocated near our study pods and the big reading chairs are by the programming room. We invite you to wander in and enjoy! And when you are ready -- don't forget to stop by the circulation desk to check out books to take home📚!!

Join us at the Aledo Public Library in the Aledo Municipal Complex for friendly, casual Mahjong and meet other enthusiasts. This is a non-instructional evening for established players using the current NMJL card. Pre-registration is required as space is limited!

It's not quite Dino summer yet🦖😎, but the Aledo Public Library 📚has activities this week to keep you busy until Unearth A Story Summer Reading 📖⛱ begins on June 2nd!

NEW program -- Infant Play 👶🏼👶🏻on TUES morning: pre-crawlers @10:30am and crawlers @11:15am. Connect and enjoy semi-guided play and gross motor milestone education playtime classes! For 0-12 month olds and their caregivers.

Mobile Dairy Classroom🐄 -- a Special Storytime at the Aledo Community Center on FRI at 10:30am.

👶Baby storytime 📙at 10:30am on TUES
Cubing Club at 3:45pm on TUES
🧶Common Threads (fiber arts) at 6pm on TUES
✂*NEW* Scrapbooking at the library at 5:30pm on THURS: work on small projects, sort pics, do some cutouts, punches, card making, journaling, etc. and get to meet other scrappers/crafters! There are outlets for digital scrappers.

🗓Registration for our summer reading program begins June 2! Visit the in the Aledo Municipal Complex to register and pick up a reading log, other summer information, and a full schedule of activities📝🔖📅.
