Aledo Volunteer Fire Department 24/7 Fire Department serving the area since 1951. Aledo FD covers 120 square miles of the east side of Parker County. ESD #1. PCESD1 covers most of Parker Co.

Founded in 1951 Aledo FD serves the community by providing fire protection and EMS first response, and public education. In 2013 AVFD became a proud member of Parker Co. TX providing emergency services. To apply for a volunteer firefighter position go to www.pcesd1.com and find the membership area to fill out an application.

Parker County has been actively preparing for the extreme temperatures forecast to begin Thursday afternoon December 22, 2022, and into the Christmas holiday weekend. If needed, warming centers, a place to get warm and charge your phones, will be opened in Parker County with the assistance of the American Red Cross. Location will be posted if needed.

What each of you can do right now, is to take personal steps to protect your 4 P’s: People, Pets, Plants, Pipes.
