The final week of spring session is here in Springfield.
Last night, Senate Executive Committee wrapped just before 9 PM. We have five days left to pass major legislation, including a state budget Democrats still haven’t filed.

Instead of getting to work, Democrats are holding a joint session today to honor Dick Durbin and the mess he’s helped leave behind in Illinois. If I wanted to hear what Durbin had to say, I would’ve just turned on MSNBC or CNN.

There’s real work to do.
