Holiday Office Closure Notice

The Mercer County Assessment Office will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Regular office hours will resume on Monday, July 6.

We wish everyone a safe, happy, and enjoyable Fourth of July weekend!

TODAY is the LAST DAY to turn in Low-Income Senior Citizen asessment Freeze homestead exemption, Homestead Exemption for Persons with Disabilities and Senior Citizen Homestead for 2025 Assessment year payable 2026!

Please call the office to ensure all your exemptions are up to date!

Today we’re celebrating the woman who can process forms, empower others, quote scripture, get in the fields, and still have her makeup flawless when the day ends!
Truly the multitasking queen we never deserved. 👑💄

She loves her family, her hometown, and lifting others up—because if there’s one thing she does better than farming or filling out exemption paperwork, it’s making everyone around her feel confident and cared for! 🥰

And let’s be honest… anyone who can go from “perfect contour” to “feeding livestock” or “wrangling her boys” without smudging a thing is basically a superhero!
