Believe in them, nurture and energize their passions, talents, and strengths. Watch them overcome challenges, grow with confidence, and continue to rise.
Dyslexia doesn't come with a manual, but a mom and dad who never give up.

Being a teenager is all about ‘fitting in’.
Anything that makes us seem different to our peers is to be avoided at all costs, which is why it is crucial that every young person that struggles with reading, is identified early and given the support and interventions needed at an early age so they can progress academically at the same level with their peers.
Evidence based, structured literacy aligned to the science of reading assists every child in learning to read
Because every young person just wants to fit in!

The 2026 State of Dyslexia report just dropped…and it might be the most useful free resource you download all year. 👇

The National Center on Improving Literacy breaks down where every state stands on dyslexia screening, structured literacy training, and access to evidence-based intervention. Even outside a traditional classroom, knowing your state’s landscape helps you ask better questions and advocate more confidently for your reader.

Look up your state in minutes, then pass it along to your homeschool group or anyone supporting struggling readers in your community.

Confidence matters just as much as skill.

A child who believes they can’t read will eventually stop trying.

A child who feels supported will keep showing up—even when it’s hard.

Kept the Faith and Kept Going!
My oldest is graduating this year, a testament to her unwavering resilience. I'm beaming with pride over her growth into a self-advocate, a skill that will undoubtedly propel her toward a bright future. The journey wasn't without its challenges, but she persevered. Along the way, she found mentors who nurtured her spirit and encouraged her to thrive. Her bravery, strength, and ability to lean into her strengths during tough times are qualities that will serve her well as she embarks on the next chapter.
