🏙️ Planning Today for Alexander City’s Future
At the recent State of the City/County, Mayor Mike Densmore kicked off the City’s update by highlighting three main goals for Alexander City:
1. Get the City’s audits caught up by year-end
2. Continue addressing and investing in our infrastructure
3. Strengthen the competency and development of our people
Following the Mayor’s remarks, Scott Hardy, Director of Community Development, presented Alexander City’s 2026–2030 Utility Capital Program. Scott worked closely with our water, sewer, electric, and gas utility teams to identify their needs and compiled that information into a comprehensive five-year outlook.
The plan includes 55 projects across our four utility systems, representing approximately $54.2 million in known capital needs.
We appreciate Mayor Densmore, Scott, and our utility teams for working together to establish clear priorities and a plan for Alexander City’s future.
