Due to increased cases of COVID-19, no reports will be taken in person at police headquarters. We're asking that you call our main business line in order to reach an officer. The number is 256-234-3421. Our dispatchers are standing by ready to assist you. We are also suspending fingerprint services.
Our patrol division is still responding to calls for service in the community, taking reports by phone when possible. Officers will be wearing PPE, such as gloves and masks, when they arrive. They may ask you to step outside if they are responding to a home. This is to keep you and our officers protected.
Please only dial 9-1-1 in an emergency. All other calls should be directed to the business line. We appreciate everyone's understanding and patience.
Municipal Court Office can be contacted at 256-329-6750 for any questions relating to the payment of fines and court dates.
