Life Saving Award.

Last night, Chief McCormick recognized C-Shift for a incident earlier this year. Crews arrived to assist Northeast Fire Department on a cardiac arrest. Crews began CPR and before arriving to the hospital, the individual had regained consciousness. Within a few weeks, our patient walked out of a local hospital.

Congratulation to Captain Rounsaville, Engineer Roberts and Engineer Chilcote for saving a life.

Today, The crew of E37 and T24 from Crystal Fire spent this morning working on their skills and training together.

Sometimes you see these individuals at the hardest times of your life.

Sometimes you see them helping others on the side of the road.

Other times, you see them traveling through the neighborhood.

And sometimes you never see them at all, as they work through the night keeping you safe while you sleep.

This week, we wanted to recognize our Police Department during National Police Week.

Life Saving Award …

On February 21, 2026 we received a call to assist Northeast Fire Department for a individual in Cardiac Arrest.

Captain Rounsaville, Engineer Roberts, and Firefighter Chilcote arrived to find the Chief of Northeast and the wife doing CPR in a driveway.

With quick action from the team on scene, the individual regained consciousness before they arrived at the hospital.

Today, Northeast Fire with Mr. Williams was able to recognize the members of Northeast Fire, Alexander Fire, and Pafford Ambulance members who saved his life.

Not often are we able to share these types of stories but, when we can we believe in showing a portion of what we do to help other in need!

Great job by all. A life was Saved!
