If you have STRUCTURAL damage , here is how you report it.

‼️STORM DAMAGE REPORTS ‼️
Saline County is currently beginning the process of assessing the impact of the recent winter storm. We are requesting the community’s assistance in documenting all structural collapses (residential, agricultural, or commercial) to help demonstrate the need for State assistance.
How to Report Damage:
💻 Email: [email protected](Subject = 2026 Ice Storm)
📲 Text: 501-317-2106
Information Required:
* Name of the owner and the physical address or GPS coordinates of the structure.
*1 or 2 clear photos showing the extent of the damage.
Vital Safety & Recovery Information:
Currently, there is NO individual or public financial assistance available. Reporting these incidents is a critical step in providing the "proof of impact" required for the Governor’s Office to request a formal disaster declaration. There will be a FORMAL Public Notice IF/WHEN Assistance becomes available.
Stay Out of Damaged Structures:
Do not enter buildings with partial collapses or sagging roofs. With temperatures remaining low, the weight of the ice continues to pose a high risk of secondary collapse.

We all want to know how the roads are. Quick response. Bad.

We would encourage everyone to enjoy the next 2 days at least inside by the fire place with hot coco.

Your 💯 % Volunteer Department has personal available and will respond if needed.

Plan for extreme cold over the next several days.

This evening, we were dispatched to a chimney fire in Stone Hills Estates.

Chief 9, Chief 9A and Squad 9 responded. Chief 9 arrived with a working fire with extension to the exterior of the Chimney.

Auto Aid bringing Alexander, Bryant, Crystal, Salem, Pafford, Saline County OEM 902 and Saline Couunty Sheriff all responded.

Crews accessed the steep pitched roof with several ladders to gain access. As well as interior crews went to the attic checking for extension.

Quick action of those on scene held the fire to the Chimney area.

It takes a huge team to assist each other with structure fires, and this evening showed that!

Thanks to our Dispatchers for promptly getting the resources and support.

Please check your Chimney before you light it up for the winter time.

2nd Alarm Stuck for West Pulaski, sending Squad 9 to assist. On arrival, we managed to make up a long, steep driveway and set up our Elevated Waterway. A little be of adapting and overcoming the set up using Cribbing for the outrigger, we began flowing water.

Command requested the Tanker Task Force early in the incident due to no fire hydrants. We assisted for over 3 hours before returning to service.
