So much learning going on at Horseshoe Drive Elementary this week!! 1st graders in Mrs. Ortiz’s class were encouraging each other as they wrote their words on the board and then found missing addends using their organizers and counting chips. Dr. Nelson joined in with students in 4th and 5th grade doing Science in Miss Hawkins and Mrs. Sibley’s classes. And we can’t forget our pre-K students in Mrs. Clark’s class working so hard with letters and matching pairs during their centers.

When Our Mustangs Work Hard, They Get to Play Hard, Too! 💚🤍
We love seeing our Mustangs putting in the work and celebrating their SUCCESS!
📚 Mr. Henton’s 2nd graders have been reading, passing AR tests, and working hard to earn new library books!
➗ Mrs. Crawford’s class has been showing their learning and celebrating their progress on math exit tickets!

And after a week filled with learning, growth, and success, it was time for a little fun!
🍦 A huge THANK YOU to Red River Bank for treating our students to FREE ice cream!
✨ Then we turned up the fun with a GLOW PARTY—dancing, laughing, and celebrating with friends to end a great week!
We are proud of our Mustangs for showing us what happens when you put your Boots on the Ground and Eyes on SUCCESS! 💚🤍
