There’s a place on stage for your child!

Whether your child dreams of being center stage or prefers a role with less time in the spotlight, Storybook Theatre’s Twice Upon a Time has a place for them.

This original musical puts a fun twist on a classic fairy tale and explores what happens when someone decides to rewrite the ending. Along the way, students help bring a world of familiar storybook characters, surprises, and adventures to life.

With a variety of roles available, students can participate at a level that matches their comfort and experience. Some roles include speaking parts, while others allow students to be part of the story, build confidence, and enjoy the excitement of performing without speaking lines.

Students will work with professional artists, make new friends, grow their creativity, and help bring this unique production to the stage.

Every performer starts somewhere, and this could be the perfect opportunity for your child to discover a love for theatre.

What a great day at Family Day at the Legacy of the Lakes Museum!

We loved being part of an event that brought so many families together to explore, play, learn, and make memories. From hands-on activities to time spent enjoying the museum and lake life history, it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces throughout the day.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by and to the Legacy of the Lakes Museum for hosting another fantastic community event. We always appreciate opportunities like these to connect with families and celebrate all the things that make our community special.

Looking for a sweet way to kick off the summer?

Hooked on Cookies - Summer Edition is a fun, hands-on decorating class where youth will create cookies inspired by beach days, fishing adventures, and all things summer. From seashells and starfish to fishing poles and colorful catches, participants will learn simple decorating techniques while bringing their edible creations to life.

Best of all, everyone will take home their decorated cookies to share with family and friends.

Does your daughter love softball or want to build confidence on the field this summer?

Girls ages 6–12 are invited to join DASH Sports Summer Softball Camp! Players will work on throwing, fielding, catching, batting, and baserunning while learning the values of respect, hustle, and pride in a fun, positive environment. Campers will be grouped by skill level and finish the week with a scrimmage on the final day.

Bring a water bottle, snack, sunscreen, and a glove—softballs and bats are provided.

Hooked on Cookies: Summer Edition is a fun decorating class where youth will create cookies inspired by beach days and fishing adventures. From seashells and starfish to fishing poles and colorful catches, each cookie becomes a chance to play with color and creativity.

Participants will learn simple decorating techniques and take home their finished cookies to share with family and friends.
