Access to healthcare is about more than whether a provider is nearby.

Cost, transportation, insurance status, language, and availability can all affect whether someone is able to get the care they need.

Free and Charitable Clinics and Pharmacies help address these barriers in communities across the country.

You don’t always have to feel sick for a health concern to be present.

Routine screenings can give patients and healthcare professionals important information about blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and other areas of health.

Talk with a healthcare professional about which screenings may be right for you.

Preventative care can help people catch health concerns earlier, manage chronic conditions, and ask important questions before symptoms become more serious.

For many uninsured and underinsured patients, getting care is not always simple. Cost, transportation, work schedules, lack of insurance, and not knowing where to go can all delay care.

Free and charitable clinics and pharmacies help bridge that gap by connecting patients to trusted care, screenings, medications, education, and support in their communities.

Care starts with access.

Heading to Washington, D.C. for the 2026 NAFC Charitable Healthcare Symposium?

Please keep an important travel update in mind as you plan your arrival. The Freedom 250 Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, August 23, the same day the Symposium begins. Road closures, increased traffic, possible airport delays, higher ride-share demand, and a busier Metro system may impact travel throughout downtown D.C.

When possible, we strongly recommend taking Metro to the JW Marriott. Metro Center Station is just a short walk from the hotel.

Please allow extra travel time and check the latest transportation and traffic updates before heading to the Symposium.

We’ll continue to share updates as needed and look forward to seeing you in Washington, D.C.
