Have you completed your Census questionnaire? Census data is used to allocate resources to communities across the country. Help Alexandria count!

CENSUS :: The City reminds all residents that it’s not too late to participate in the 2020 Census. Completing the Census questionnaire is safe, easy, and typically takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Later this month, census takers will begin visiting households who have not yet responded to the Census, as the Census Bureau begins enumeration activities nationwide. An accurate count makes sure all residents are fairly represented in federal and state government and that $675 billion in federal resources are allocated correctly across state and local jurisdictions. For more information, visit alexandriava.gov/Census2020.

DO NOT flush any sort of “wipe”. There are already reports of sewers backing up into basements in Arlington due to people flushing wipes. Even if it says it is “flushable”... it is NOT flushable. Toss it in the trash!

It doesn't matter what the package says, it matters what it does to your pipes and the sewer system: flushable wipes are NOT flushable--they clog pipes. Flush only the 3 P’s … Poop, Pee, and [toilet] Paper down the toilet.

Hello All. I lost the last Warwick newsletter and wanted to reach out to the owner of the orange cat that was featured in the last newsletter. We have seen your cat enter our backyard through the fence bordering another neighbor's backyard. While we don't have an issue with your cat wandering around our backyard, we do have 2 large dogs and genuinely fear for your cat's safety should he be in our backyard and our dogs are out. Would you please be able to PM me? (X-posted to Next Door)
