In honor of National Law Enforcement Week, our Windmill Ponds Maintenance Manager Craig had the opportunity to connect with Brian from the Alexandria Police Department, Alexandria, MN and delivered a small token of appreciation to say thank you.

⚠️ Public Safety Alert ⚠️

The Alexandria Police Department has received multiple reports of a black bear in town. The DNR has been notified, and we are aware of the situation.

Please use caution if you see the bear, keep a safe distance, and do not approach or feed it.

May is Bicycle Safety Month, and we want to remind everyone about the importance of bicycle safety and sharing the road. 🚲

Tonight is the Ride of Silence, a global event that honors cyclists who have been injured or killed while riding on public roadways. The ride raises awareness about cyclist safety and serves as a time to remember those we’ve lost.

The Alexandria Police Department would like to let the community know that there is no organized Memorial Day Parade scheduled in Alexandria for 2026.

We’ve received several questions about whether a parade is planned this year. This year, a Memorial Day Parade was not formally organized.

We appreciate the community’s continued support of Memorial Day traditions as we honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.
