CFR would like to offer our condolences to the family and friends of Sergeant Chris Gebelt. Chris was a valued member of the Southern Campbell Fire District for 41 years. During his time in the service, Chris served as an EMT and Engineer on countless calls. He was not only a dedicated member, he was also the president of the volunteer association for many years. Above all else, Chris was a great friend, mentor, and truly one of the greatest men I have ever met. His loss resonates deeply to all who knew him and he will be missed far more than he could ever have imagined. Rest easy Brother!

Station 12 had some unexpected visitors this morning from a Model T group as they began a trip to Natural Bridge! They were a very gracious group of people!

Congrats to all the graduates of the GCTCS paramedic program! Special congrats to our own new graduate FF/PARAMEDIC Dustin Shaffer. These students have proven themselves through a long intense program where they learned advance life support. Good luck to all as you put everything you learned to use out in the field! Also congrats to FF/Medic Carl Biery on lab instructor of the year!
