Earlier today, we were dispatched to a medical call involving a patient suffering from a heat-related illness while mowing their lawn. Upon arrival, our personnel assessed the patient and provided care before they were transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
During the incident, Lieutenant Colton Brown noticed that the patient’s lawn was only partially completed. Wanting to help ease the burden on the patient and their family, Lieutenant Brown took it upon himself to finish mowing the lawn so they would not have to worry about it upon returning home.
We would like to recognize and thank Lieutenant Brown for going above and beyond in service to our community. Acts of kindness like this exemplify the dedication, compassion, and commitment that our members demonstrate every day.
