FORMER VIRGINIA DEMOCRATIC PARTY OFFICER CHARGED WITH ELECTION FRAUD: "The indictment alleges that on or about Aug. 7 and Nov. 7, Watson voted in an election 'that he was not qualified to vote where and when the vote was given.'

"The first three charges are Class 5 felonies punishable with up to 10 years in prison and up to a $2,500 fine. The fourth charge is a Class 6 felony punishable with up to five years in prison and a $2,500 fine."

Liam Watson surrendered to Virginia State Police on Wednesday. He has been released on bond.

Join Arlington Republicans for our annual Summer Cookout to kick-off the campaign cycle on Saturday, July 27th. This event is in lieu of our regularly-scheduled July monthly meeting. There is no membership meeting tonight.

Here are the complete details:

WHAT: Arlington GOP Annual Summer Cookout
WHEN: Saturday, July 27th from 12pm to 4pm
WHERE: Community Room @ Courtland Park
2500 Clarendon Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22201

I am finalizing a special guest speaker and will make an announcement once he has confirmed. Additionally, we will hear from the Northern Virginia Trump Force 47 campaign team.

I have received a number of questions from attendees, so I will attempt to answer them all here:

1. Do I have to bring anything? You are not required to bring anything; however, you are welcome to bring a side dish or dessert. Arlington Republicans will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, all the fixin's, traditional sides, and light beverages (beer, wine, soda, and water). If you would like to bring something, please reply to this email so I can accommodate it.

2. Is there parking? While there is no on-site guest parking for events like this, there is limited permitted and paid street parking within walking distance of the building. There is also garage parking at The Crossing shopping center in Clarendon and at the Ellen M. Bozman Government Center in Courthouse.

3. How do I get to the venue? Courtland Park's main entrance is at 2500 Clarendon Boulevard. The front door is secured (due in-part to Commonwealth Attorney Parisa Dehghani-Tafti's increase in crime), but I will provide an access code to those who RSVP. The Community Room is just off the lobby, around to the right from the front entrance.

4. Can I attend if I'm not a member? Yes! Most Arlington GOP events are open to the general public. Tickets are $35 for individuals and $10 for children under 12. For those of you who have never attended an Arlington GOP event or are new to the area, we do have some scholarship tickets available thanks to the generous support of our donors. If you're interested in attending as a guest of our generous donors, you must email me to confirm.

BLM BOOS KAMALA: “In a statement Tuesday, the group, which rose to prominence in 2020 for organizing nationwide protests in the wake of the killing of George Floyd, said that ‘a 24-hour process of talking to party bosses is not democratic, nor is it a process Democrats should be proud of.’”

Black Lives Matter is resisting the installation of Vice President Kamala Harris and calling on the DNC "to create a process that allows for public participation in the nomination process."

CHEATLE: GONE! "U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned Tuesday amid widespread outrage over her agency’s failure to prevent the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania campaign rally earlier this month.

"Cheatle’s resignation, which was first reported by NBC News citing sources, came a day after she was blasted by members of a House committee at a hearing on the Secret Service’s actions leading up to Trump’s July 13 rally in Butler Township."

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle was criticized for her agency's failure to prevent the attempted assassination of Donald Trump at a campaign rally.

CHEATLE: TIME TO GO! "In hours of grilling from both Republicans and Democrats, Cheatle stonewalled and further highlighted the stunning incompetence at the top of an agency with a critical zero-fail mission. The failure in Butler was staggering. While Trump survived by only a fraction of an inch, the brave firefighter Corey Comperatore died protecting his family while two others were injured."

The train-wreck congressional testimony only made the Secret Service’s failure at the Trump rally look worse.
