All Rapides Parish Library locations will be closed on Monday, October 19, for Staff Development Day as our team comes together to learn, grow, and improve how we serve you!

We’re joining the 2026 Red River Downtown Pumpkin Trail, and our staff has gotten a little creative! 😂

Meet our computer-chomping monster 💻, our overwhelmed librarian trying to survive story time 😵, and our pumpkin showing off some RPL pride!

🏆 We’re hoping to win Funniest Pumpkin, Best Downtown Spirit, or Best Business-Themed Pumpkin, and we’d LOVE your votes!

🎨 Pick up your FREE art kit at any RPL branch through October 31.

🖼️ Create your tiny masterpiece and return it by October 31 to be part of our Tiny Art Show!

🌟 All artwork will be on display throughout November for everyone to enjoy! Your masterpiece will be displayed at the branch where you return it!
