Founded in 1992, the Partnership joins its collaborators in defining and marketing Alexandria as a creative, diverse, knowledge-based community with a high quality of life.

This week, the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership and the AlexandriaVA.gov City of Alexandria are launching the Alexandria Back to Business Grants Program for Small Businesses!

The ALX B2B Grants program will allow for Alexandria businesses to offset costs associated with reopening and rescaling. This much-needed capital allows for us to invest in our businesses and business owners.

Grants will be available to Alexandria-based, for-profit businesses with 2 to 100 employees that have experienced losses in revenue of 25% or greater due to the COVID-10 pandemic.

Applications will be open from 8:00AM on Thursday, June 4th through 5:00PM Monday, June 8th.

THIS MONDAY! Together with the Alexandria Small Business Development Center, we are hosting a Virtual Meeting for Alexandria businesses to hear about CARES Act Program updates directly from the Small Business Administration. David Hincapie, Economic Development Specialist at the Washington Metropolitan Area District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), will discuss the financial tools and resources now available to help small businesses and non-profits navigate today's unprecedented economic challenges.

This Virtual Meeting is for Alexandria, Virginia businesses specifically, and the majority of time is intended for questions from the ALX business community. Our goal is to make this an interactive session where businesses can get answers from the SBA and learn from what other local businesses are doing.
