The SWCD assists landowners and operators in planning and applying the soil and water conservation practices needed to protect and improve their soil and water resources. The 5th annual Take a Kid Ice Fishing event is just around the corner. Join us at Bemo Pond on Saturday, January 17th, for a chance to catch Rainbow Trout.
There will be some fishing rods, reels, and portable shelters available for participants to use, you're welcome to bring your own equipment. No previous experience necessary, members of Viking Sportsmen will be on hand to assist those who are new to ice fishing.
