☀️ Summer is here, and we're seeing more e-bikes and e-scooters on our roads, and trails.

Minnesota trauma centers are reporting a concerning increase in e-bike and e-scooter injuries, with emergency department visits rising significantly. Many of the most serious injuries involve minors, making parents and guardians the first and most important line of defense.

Now is the time to talk with your children about safe riding habits and make sure they have the proper safety equipment, including a well-fitted helmet.

Before your child rides, take a few minutes to review Minnesota's e-bike and e-scooter laws and safety guidelines. Education, supervision, and protective gear can help prevent serious injuries and keep everyone safe this summer.

Mark your calendars for an upcoming FREE Car Seat Checkup.
Monday, June 8th from 3:30-5:00pm at Little Learners Academy, 1405 Broadway St., Alexandria.

Free event to have certified child passenger safety technician check car seats for correct installation and make sure every child is using the appropriate car seat for their size. Free car seats/boosters available for families in need.
