Now through 04/01/2025, we are offering a discount on testing for Phenols in your drinking water! Phenol is used in many industrial applications, including the production of plastics, explosives, and pharmaceuticals. Phenolic compounds are among the major contaminants of the environment and water sources. Phenol in drinking water can cause unpleasant taste and odor even at low concentrations, and in high levels, can lead to serious health concerns. We are running a Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) special this spring and offering this testing for only $20!

Please inquire at 320-762-1528 for testing bottles & instruction. We make safe drinking water our top priority!

How often should I test my well water & for what?!
Coliform bacteria - every year and any time the water changes in taste, odor, or appearance. Coliform bacteria can indicate that disease-causing microorganisms may be in your water.
Nitrate - every other year. Bottle-fed infants under six months old are at the highest risk of being affected by levels of nitrate higher than 10 milligrams per liter in drinking water.
Arsenic - at least once. Drinking water with arsenic in it for a long time can contribute to reduced intelligence in children and increased risks of cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and skin problems.
Lead - at least once. The well and water system may have parts that have lead in them, and that lead can get into drinking water. Lead can damage the brain, kidneys, and nervous system. Lead can also slow development or cause learning, behavior, and hearing problems.
Manganese - before a baby drinks the water. High levels of manganese can cause problems with memory, attention, and motor skills. Manganese can also cause learning and behavior problems in infants and children.

Have you noticed any of the following in your water?
-Unpleasant taste and odor.
-Discolored water.
-Stains or slime on sinks, toilets and appliances.
-Discoloration in your laundry.
-Dry/brittle hair or skin irritation.

We are here to help!

Excessive iron in water can corrode pipes, plumbing equipment, and clog pipes, screens, and other components of the well system. The slime can also hamper the effectiveness of the well system’s water treatment components.

Don't guess...TEST!

Our nationally certified laboratory offers same-day Iron/Hardness water testing! We also have expanded to offer specific Iron Bacteria and Sulfur Bacteria testing to help protect you from undesired bacteria in your drinking water. Sample pick up available upon request.
