Naval Academy Grad to Report to NFL Training Camp After All

In a reversal of the initial decision to have him immediately report to duty to meet his service obligation, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said Kinley would be "enlisted in the Inactive Ready Reserve for the duration of his professional football career."

Will you be rooting for Kinley as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer?

Cameron Kinley was told last month that he needed to meet his service obligation before trying to embark on an NFL career.

Why the Air Force will allow airmen to walk instead of run on their fitness tests

“More testing options will put flexibility in the hands of our Airmen – where it belongs. We know not all Airmen maintain their fitness the same way and may excel in different areas. Alternate components provide choices while still providing a mechanism to determine overall fitness.”

The walking option is based on years of research which shows that walking works just fine for the goals of the Air Force.

After a state of emergency has been declared in a given area, TRICARE may respond by changing prescription-refill rules, waiving the need for a doctor’s referral to receive covered care, or issuing other emergency-related benefits.

Hurricane season is underway, and winter won’t be far behind. Keep these resources handy.

Four-star Marine general’s family returns ancient bell to Japan

“The bell is a missing link to our (Okinawan) history — it’s a chain to our legacy. For the sake of our children, they need to know their history and that’s what museums are for in the first place. Forgetting your ancestors’ history is like forgetting your parents, so we are very thankful to Melanie for sending the bell back."

The family of Gen. Roy S. Geiger, has held possession of the bell for 74 years.

How are you all who are in this Association.
MOAA HQS. SHARE MY PREVIOUS THOUGHTS INTERNALLY PLEASE. I'M WANTING TO MAKE CONTACT, BUT NOT LIGHT A FIRE! THANK YOU.
I have been a MOAA LIFE MEMBER since 2009, serving our local community by distributing food, hygienic and home sanitary products, counseling military and veterans personnel and family members locate suitable housing, prepare and seek out part time or long term employment, visit at home or in medical facilities, participate in prayer vigils, support or participate in funerals, military honors, graveside services and visitation with families, accompany veterans to court hearings and visit or speak at diverse houses of worship of any military or veteran folks. My steep 18' fall from street level across retaining stone walls to the house foundation November 2019 resulted in my permanent disability. My Savior Jesus Christ with much prayer from surrounding believers is systematically restoring every aspect. Five days hospital, 44 days physical and mental rehab followed by concentrated at home-bound daily exercise gave me ability to walk for the first time by February 2020. It remains a slow process to continue. Noteworthy, volunteers kept local community service to military and veterans alive, Can anybody assist me to validate my MOAA LIFE MEMBER issued during 2009.
Has anybody signed/used MOAA Recovery Plan
