🎆 Fireworks & Traffic Update for July 3rd Firework Show🎆

Please note that the fireworks shoot-off zone will be in the same general vicinity as previous years, but has been shifted slightly, as shown by the white highlighted area on the event map.

To accommodate the updated fireworks safety zone and provide space for emergency and safety personnel staging, Central Avenue will be closed between Curve Street and the north entrance of the high school parking lot.

🚗 High School Parking Access
Anyone wishing to park in the high school lot will need to enter from 11th Street onto Central Avenue and use the south entrance near the football field.

We appreciate your cooperation as we work to provide a safe and enjoyable event for everyone. Please review the event map before arriving and follow all posted signage and directions from event staff.

Food trucks will be up and running once parade ends!

🇺🇸 Freedom Parade – July 3rd 🇺🇸

Join us as we celebrate our community, our country, and the spirit of American living at the Freedom Parade on Friday, July 3rd!

📅 Date: July 3rd
⏰ Lineup Begins: 5:00 PM
🚩 Parade Starts: 6:00 PM

📍 Parade Route:
The parade will begin at Broadway and Harrison, travel south on Harrison to 6th Street, then head west on 6th Street, ending at the Alexandria High School parking lot.

🎉 We are looking for parade participants!
Whether you're a local politician, community organization, dance team, business, church, sports team, classic car owner, golf cart enthusiast, or any other group that wants to celebrate our great nation, we want YOU in the parade!

Let's showcase everything that makes our community special and represent the best of American living. Decorate your float, golf cart, vehicle, or walking group in red, white, and blue and help us make this year's parade one to remember!

We are just under 2 weeks away from our firecrackers being crowned!!! Let’s get out and support these cuties!! You can donate to them through their parents or by finding one of their cans at a local business and dropping some change in them!

💰As a reminder, 1 penny= 1 vote. The top female and male vote earners will be crowned Little Miss and Little Mr. Firecracker on June 27th!
