Local Artist Transforms Her Exhibit Work into Street Art - The Zebra

Thanks to Susan Mulligan Fleischman for the opportunity to share more of the process and story behind my front yard art installation. She features some great photos of the process from the original paper cuts to making the silk screens too.

The framed paper cuts are delicate two-dimensional works with verse and image hand-cut from paper, which is then mounted on a colored background. The verses include quotes by women artists and writers, adorned with scenes of families and nature lovers in the forest or walking along a path. Of season...

Talented local artist/author Kathryn Coneway will join us for a nature collage-making workshop focused on light and color in the natural world. Participants will create an accordion book of collage images using translucent mulberry paper.
