From Friday, May 22nd through Sunday, May 24th, our crew of 13 participants and 4 coaches traveled to Special Olympics Louisiana at Southeastern Louisiana University to compete in the 2026 Summer Games and what an unforgettable weekend it was! This year, Special Olympics Mississippi joined us, making the experience even more special.
Memories were made, friendships were formed, and our athletes gave it their all every single day. We are beyond proud of every athlete who participated and so thankful to everyone who helped make this event possible.
A HUGE thank you goes out to our The Arc Rapides coaches for going above and beyond to make sure our participants felt loved, protected, celebrated, and truly honored throughout the entire weekend. The care, patience, and heart they poured into this experience did not go unnoticed.
This weekend was truly indescribable. ❤️
