We are looking for someone with a strong focus on customer service and a commitment to incorporating diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility practices, particularly anti-racism and anti-oppression, into their work.

We have been staying busy throughout the month of June!

Commemorating Juneteenth: Honoring the Emancipation, and celebrating freedom. On this historic day, we remember and reflect upon the significance of June 19th, 1865. The day enslaved African Americans in the United States learned of their liberation. Today we stand united, cherishing resilience, triumph, and the enduring spirit of those who fought for justice. Let's embrace this opportunity to educate, uplift, and foster meaningful dialogue, ensuring that the legacy of Juneteenth lives on and inspires generations to come.

Alfred University Libraries are proud to join the CLAS graduates in celebration of this accomplishment-many of whom are Herrick and
Scholes Library student employees and library regulars!

If you haven't stopped by Herrick or Scholes in a while, please do! Everyone is welcome! Both libraries serve our entire campus body and the local community.
