This grill was generously donated by Eldredge Lumber and Hardware in Sanford and is just beautiful. Would look amazing on your deck or patio! Our Story and Toddler Time events are all about growing this summer. In keeping with our Plant a Seed, Read Summer Reading theme, our Tuesday Storytime and our Thursday Toddler Time will be focusing on farms and growing things, with tailored books and crafts each week. Get ready, get set, and grow with us this summer. And because these are Summer Reading Program events, participants in the SRP will get a raffle ticket! Storytime is on Tuesdays from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and Toddler Time happens at 10 a.m. on Thursdays.

Our Ukulele Explorers are taking a summer break, but the strumming goes on! Join us Mondays from 1-2 p.m. for Spring and Summer Ukulele Practice! We'll use videos and learn strum patterns, and discover how much fun playing music can be. Join us Mondays in June and July for Spring and Summer Ukulele Practice at PML, 1-2 p.m.

Now you can find out more about them and what makes them special. Hear about growing, foraging, and enjoying these amazing fungi. Bees. What's the buzz? Find out at a special program - Bees, Pollination and Honey: The Importance of Bees. Mason and Danielle Laudarowicz of Beeloved Apiary, members of the York County Bee Association, will present this amazing program on Tuesday, June 30 from 1-2 p.m. Learn about what it's like to be a beekeeper, why bees are so important, and what you can do to support pollinators. This program is for kids age 7-11 and is part of our Summer Reading Program, which means that attendees get a raffle ticket! The new StoryWalk® at the One-Room Schoolhouse on Gore Road in Alfred is open! What's a StoryWalk®? It's a unique way to take a short walk and read a fabulous story. The new story is Hello Lighthouse by Caldecott Medalist Sophie Blackall and is the charming story of life as a lighthouse keeper. Follow the story as you walk around the grounds of the historic schoolhouse at 781 Gore Road. This StoryWalk® was made possible with help from our friends at the Alfred Historical Committee and the Alfred Conservation Commission. ®

Something cool is coming to your Waterboro Hannaford! Be cool this July with a reusable Community Bag purchased at the Waterboro store on 20 Sokokis Trail in East Waterboro. For every $2.50 bag purchased, $1 goes to the Keepers of Parsons Memorial Library and will benefit PML in the future. You get a sturdy reusable bag for your groceries and the knowledge that you're supporting your local library via the Keepers. Bag purchases begin July 1.
