Alfred welcomes Rev. Dr. Eileen Borduin Vanderzwan to UUC and to our village!

UUC is thrilled to welcome the Rev. Dr. Eileen Borduin Vanderzwan as our new pastor!

Ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament by the Presbyterian Church, she brings a unique blend of theological depth and artistic passion, holding a Doctor of Ministry in Transformational Leadership and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary.

With a background in music and choral conducting and experience serving congregations from New York to Scotland, she is dedicated to creating "windows into the holy" through inclusive, arts-inspired worship. Please join us for her first sermon on Pentecost Sunday, May 24, as we begin this exciting new chapter together.

Please refrain from unnecessary driving in the village during the snowstorm. Should you need to be out with your vehicle, leave it in parking lots and not on the street. If a vehicle is parked on village streets tomorrow and interferes with snow plowing it may be towed at owner’s expense. Let’s work together to keep our streets passable for emergency vehicles. Be safe! And a reminder that the Village Hall will be opened as an emergency warming center should we lose power.
