Providing safety and supportive services to diverse men, women, and children affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse in Kewaunee County. MISSION STATEMENT

Violence Intervention Project creates change by offering help, building hope and supporting families and communities. Our vision is all people are believed, respected and safe. Our values are:
We honor survivors through e

mpowerment. We nurture through supportive services and choice. We value diversity and welcome all. We create change through education. We embrace our community and their support. We believe we cannot-by words, action, or attitudes-attempt to remove any power belonging to the individual. Knowing we do not have the ability to determine what is appropriate for another person’s life, we accept our role as that of encouragement, support and empowerment as victims and survivors make decisions only they have the right to make.

🤍 We need your help. Once again, VIP is asking for support from our community. We are running low on self-care and hygiene items for victims and survivors leaving unsafe situations.

🤍 Many people come to us with very little, and even small items can bring comfort during a difficult time.

If you are able, please consider purchasing an item from our Amazon wishlist linked below. If you can’t donate, sharing this post would mean so much to us. Thank you for continuing to support survivors in our community. 🤍

Here is a little update: this past week we celebrated the final “graduation” of our support groups at our local middle/high school. This year, we had over 70 students participate in our groups, and we truly had a wonderful time working with them. 🤍

🤍 Throughout the year, we enjoyed meeting with these students, participating in team-building activities outside of school, and organizing and planning community events together. We also had the opportunity to explore and learn about so many important topics, including mental health, peer pressure, teamwork, healthy relationships, and so much more.

We are so grateful for the connections made and the growth we witnessed throughout the year.
