🌟 Resource of the Week: Local History Collection

Looking into local history or working on a project?

The library’s Local History Collection is ready for you to explore, with materials on local businesses and organizations, the Harold Heidmann photograph collection, railroad and bridge history, and more.

These Algoma Venture Academy students recently used the collection for a school project-and students, adults, and local authors all rely on it for research, writing, and genealogy.

Stop in, explore, and start your research today.

Happy πŸ₯§ Day!!

It’s Pi(e) Day!

Whether you celebrate your favorite mathematical number of 3.14159265359 OR your favorite pie, Pi(e) day is pretty rad.

Katie wants to know WHAT your favorite slice of pie is! Her favorite pie is a tie between Belgian Pie (Apple) or a Carmel drizzled apple pie served with a scoop of ice cream. πŸ˜‹

Stop in the library today and let her know (and stock up on some books, movies, magazines or even cookbooks for the coming snow storm).

If you can’t make it in, drop your favorite slice of pie in the comments below πŸ‘‡
