Tuesday this week we welcomed Allen Chapman and his choral wisdom to the AHS choir room
What a blast - he helped us figure a few things out on our repertiore, reinforced some things we are doing, and generally pumped us up! What a presence he has and a privilege to have him in our corner. Thanks Mr. Chapman, Choir Guru!

Cllinician day 1: AHS Choir has several clinicians working with us in preparation for State Large Group Contest.
Thursday April 9, Joel Everist from NIACC came to work his magic with our sound. What a great day - smiles all around! Mr. Everist had several props he used to emphasize musical ideas. He also used many anecdotes to enhance our understanding of musical expression. Thanks Mr. Everist - we look forward to working with you again!

Hello Algona School Families,

The 5th Annual Sundae Funday Fundraiser has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 27th from 5-8:30pm (or when we run out of ice cream!). If you already signed up for toppings, please drop it off at your child's school office by Monday, January 26th, if you haven't already. There are also a few spots available for volunteers to work the sundae table.

Morningside Vocal Arts Festival was a great time! Amazing music and musicians. Kennedi, Elijah and HU had the opportunity to meet and talk with composer Kyle Pederson! Checked in with alum Seth Walker. It was a weekend for the record books. Highly recommend! Thanks Dr. Ryan Person, for such a memorable experience!
