Good afternoon! We are so happy to share our annual Fire Muster details for this year's Frankenmuth Muster. The registration form is available via gliafaa.org under both the home page and the Frankenmuth tab. We cannot WAIT to see you at this wonderful family friendly event from 7/24-7/25!!

Registration forms will be sent out via the next Transmitter or you are welcome to download and print to send on your own. The form will also be available in our private group.

We would like to thank the Toledo Firefighters Museum Inc for generously hosting our club meeting today! If you get a chance, please visit them and consider donating to their hard work of preserving Fire History. They are open on Saturdays from 12p-4p.

We look forward to the upcoming season of events and hopefully we will see you all there!

2026 Fire Muster *UPDATE*

Plans are underway for our annual Frankenmuth Fire Muster! While we are still finalizing things, here’s what you can look forward to this summer:

- Member meeting at the Toledo Firefighters Museum on 3/15 at 1pm

- NEW Rigs & Relics Fire Muster & Swap Meet in partnership with Vintage Media. This will replace the previously held Goodells Swap meet. Date: 6/27 in Coldwater, MI. More details to come

- 29th annual Frankenmuth Fire Muster to be held 7/24 & 7/25 at Heritage Park
- Meet & Greet the evening of 7/24 with food available for purchase on site
- Light parade at dusk on 7/24
- Parade through Frankenmuth at 11am on 7/25 ending back at Heritage park
- Food available for purchase on site during the day of 7/25 provided by the Lions Club of Frankenmuth

We are so looking forward to our events this year and can’t wait to see you!

Its Official, The Gliafaa Board of Directors Is Excited to Announce a New Coldwater, Michigan Event for 2026.

Rigs & Relics Fire Muster & Swap Meet is a Partnership with Vintage Media, publisher of Vintage Fire Truck & Equipment Magazine.

Scheduled for June 27, 2026 this event will incorporate the 48th Annual Gliafaa Fire Swap Meet previously held at Goodells, Michigan.

The 29th Annual Frankenmuth
Muster Dates for 2026 are July 24, 25, 26th.

As we finalize plans for this event, current Swap Meet vendors and rig owners will be personally welcomed to participate.

This South Central Michigan location will bring together Fire enthusiasts from Western Michigan thru Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and beyond for a weekend of fun activities.

Stay tuned for more details and ways to get involved to make this another midwest outstanding event.

The Next GLIAFAA membership will be held on Sunday September 21, 2025 at Waterford Regional Fire Station One, 2495 Crescent Lake Road, southwest corner of Hatchery Road. After the meeting, the Waterford Village histroic fire hall, 4490 Hatchery Road, one mile east of Fire Staion One, will be opened for a tour.

Tour around Frankenmuth's Heritage Park as close to 100 rigs spent the afternoon together throwing water, raising sticks, and swapping stories!
