Located in McHenry and Kane counties of northern Illinois, Huntley 158 serves approximately 8,300 students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade and beyond, residing in Huntley, western portions of Lake in the Hills and Algonquin, and surrounding areas. Huntley 158 established its page as a forum for two-way communication to engage and inform the community about the events, programs and

activities of the school district. Congratulations to our Huntley Hurricanes Special Olympics athletes, who recently participated in the Special Olympics Illinois Summer Games held at Illinois State University. This event brings together athletes from across Illinois who have qualified through local and regional competitions. Participation at the state level represents a significant achievement and reflects months of dedication, training, sportsmanship, and perseverance. Our athletes competed with pride and demonstrated the values of inclusion, determination, and excellence throughout the weekend.

A big thank you to our dedicated coaches Cindy Fitzgerald, Maggie Hoffman and Keely Grasse, whose leadership, encouragement, and commitment helped make these achievements possible.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our second Raiders Read Together Read-Aloud session on Monday at the Huntley Area Public Library and the Huntley Park District! 🤩📖 After a quick recap on what we've read so far, we dove into chapter 5 of The Mouse and the Motorcycle and then everyone received their very own coloring page that will be hung up inside the halls of our elementary schools when students return this fall! 🖍🐭

📅 Fridays: By appointment only

❗The District Office will be closed on June 19, July 2, and July 3 for holidays.
