🎉 Congratulations to Superintendent Jessica Lombard, a 2026 Woman of Distinction!

An educator at heart, Ms. Lombard is a compassionate leader who puts students first. In her tenure as superintendent, she has championed student voice, working with the board of education to involve student advisory representatives for the first time in Huntley 158 history. She has also led the collaborative development of the district's strategic plan, Huntley 2030: Building Tomorrow Together, and introduced three new "Portraits" that will help guide the district into the future.

Ms. Lombard believes strong schools are built through meaningful relationships and genuine collaboration. She leads by listening, bringing people together and ensuring students, staff, families and community members have a voice.

👏 Please join us in congratulating Superintendent Lombard on this wonderful recognition and celebrating her commitment to All Students Always!

We've kicked off our Huntley 158 alumni campaign this year with our "Where Are They Now" storytelling series featuring HHS alumni. Meet Alex Conrey, Class of 2013!

We're excited to introduce you to another Huntley 158 alum doing BIG things! Meet Alex Conrey, Class of 2013.

After Conrey graduated from Huntley High School, he went into IT and worked his way up to systems engineer at Wellspring Worldwide in Chicago. He then moved to California to work at Blizzard Entertainment (World of Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch), then at SpaceX as a site reliability engineer.

In 2022, Conrey started his own company, Conrey Engineering, where he worked for two aerospace start-up companies that launched satellites on the same rocket and was on “mission control” from his backyard! He now works as a principal engineer at K2 Space Corporation, where they build massive satellites and where he makes sure servers stay online and satellites stay in orbit.

According to Conrey, “Huntley 158 fostered my entire tech upbringing. I was not shied away from exploration and digging into things that interested me. CompSci set me up to learn how to write real-world applications that supported 1M users. I also learned how to do other things, like bake bread and make smoothies. I learned how to do math, which is useful as it turns out. It's hard to imagine doing what I do today without a lot of pivotal moments at Huntley 158 schools.”
