🚸 Special Around Alhambra Update: Speed Humps! 🚸

Alhambra has installed its first-ever speed hump, marking a major step in ongoing efforts to improve traffic safety and slow speeding on residential streets. Following a city initiative approved several months ago, the new installations on Marguerita Ave reflect a broader push for practical, neighborhood-level traffic calming solutions.

Improvements along Marguerita are already noticeable, while residents citywide are eager to see more streets benefit next.

In case you missed it, the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated the grand opening of a new Starbucks in Alhambra! ✂️

Conveniently located at the corner of Valley Boulevard and Campbell Avenue, the new café brings added convenience to the neighborhood with its drive-thru service, spacious interior seating, and welcoming atmosphere for customers looking to meet, work, or relax 💻

Beyond serving coffee, the new location represents a meaningful investment in the community, creating nearly 50 local jobs and expanding gathering options for residents. Customers can also check out exclusive merchandise, including items from Starbucks’ popular Miffy collaboration 🐰

Last Wednesday night, the Alhambra, Temple City, and Rosemead Chambers came together for our monthly Small Business Connects, hosted at the Garfield Center. Located at 320 S. Garfield Ave., the modern mixed-use development provided a unique setting for an evening of networking and collaboration. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn more about the project, which currently has commercial spaces available for lease and purchase.

Business leaders from the San Gabriel Valley discussed business strategies & collaborations, formed meaningful connections, enjoyed food, and had an engaging evening together.

They've got both spicy dishes and non-spicy, from their classic Mapo Tofu to Boiled Fish with Rattan Peppers, Tea Smoked Pork Ribs, and more!

The next two weeks are the perfect time for you to stop by and try their dishes. Through May 29, visit Sichuan Impression to take advantage of their current special — a great chance to experience Michelin-recognized cuisine at an affordable price.
