Join us in celebrating some recent Heluna Health partner wins! 🎉

We're proud to support organizations across the public health sector, and we're celebrating a few partners who recently landed exciting grant awards and renewals:

🔹 The Los Angeles County Justice Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) received funding for Care First Community Investment (CFCI) grants. Heluna Health is proud to partner with them to distribute $19+ million focused on diversion, behavioral health and wellness, and housing stability.

🔹 The Health Consortium of Greater San Gabriel Valley received $570,000 from UniHealth Foundation. This funding will expand the Food4All program — reducing food insecurity, increasing food-is-medicine interventions, and connecting patients to local resources and free farmers markets.

🔹 The California Department of Public Health's Center for Infectious Diseases received $1.5+ million from HHS/NIH and Emory University. In partnership with Heluna Health and Emory University, this funding will support research into a new Tuberculosis (TB) protocol testing an innovative face mask for respiratory particle capture, across 2-3 sites in California.

🔹 Bridge HIV received $3+ million from HHS/NIH. This funding will advance HIV prevention, treatment, and care, including formative behavioral and social science research and large-scale intervention efficacy trials.

🔹 The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health's Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative received $2.6+ million from HHS/HRSA and the County of Los Angeles, to enhance HIV education for those at risk or living with HIV/AIDS.

🔹 Family Resource Centers Network of California received $1.5 million from the State of California to support implicit bias training for community navigators, empowering them to recognize and support participants who experience institutional or interpersonal bias while seeking services.

These wins reflect both the strength of our partners' programs and the operational foundation Heluna Health helps provide. Thank you to our Grants and Program Management, Accounting, and Human Resources teams for the behind-the-scenes work that makes this impact possible.

Congratulations to all — we're proud to keep supporting your vital work. 👏 Which of these initiatives are you most excited to see grow? Let us know in the comments!

For much of U.S. history, children with disabilities were denied access to public education. Many were institutionalized, segregated, or excluded from school entirely. IDEA changed that.

As IDEA marks its 50th anniversary, take a look back at the history that led to one of the most significant civil rights laws in education.
