K-9 Dani is pleased to announce that Aldo Legge has been selected as the new Police Chief of the Center Township Police Department. Chief Legge is succeeding Chief Barry Kramer who, after serving as Chief for 26 years, has entered into retirement. Thank you Chief Kramer and congratulations Chief Legge.

After careful consideration, on July 3, 2023 the Center Twp. board of supervisors selected and hired Chief Legge effective immediately to lead CTPD.

Along with years of experience, knowledge, and passion, Chief Legge brings with him an impressive resume including serving and protecting Center and Potter Township for the last 31 years. While with CTPD he had held ranks as Patrolman, Sergeant, and Detective. In addition he has served on the FBI drug task force. Chief Legge holds a M.S. degree in Criminal Justice.

We are confident that Chief Legge’s experience and dedication to the profession of law enforcement will immensely benefit the communities of Center and Potter Township. He understands that in order to maintain and enhance safety and service to our community, we must build strong and enduring relationships to heighten effective communication and team-work to properly serve and honor the the communities in which we serve.

“True leadership lies in guiding others to success. To ensuring that everyone is preforming at their best, doing the work they are pledged to do and doing it well.”

You‘ve got it from here Chief Legge. Congratulations.
