When asked what matters most about their child in their school, parents typically wonder about the timeless skills of human connection: “‘Does my child communicate with you as a teacher? Does my child work well in a group? Is my child friends with everybody? How are they in class? Do they raise ...

Building Connections & Creating Opportunities for Aliquippa Students!

I had the opportunity to attend the Beaver County Education Leaders Meet-Up, bringing together education and community leaders from across Beaver County for an afternoon focused on conversation, collaboration, networking, and building new partnerships.

These opportunities are important because the relationships built outside of our schools can create opportunities inside of them. Connecting with regional leaders allows us to share ideas, identify resources, strengthen community partnerships, and explore new programs that can directly benefit the students and families of the Aliquippa School District.

As a district, we will continue to make sure Aliquippa has a seat at the table whenever conversations are taking place that can lead to greater opportunities for our students.

When we build stronger partnerships, we build stronger opportunities for our students.

📣 EXCITING NEWS FOR THE ALIQUIPPA SCHOOL DISTRICT! 🖤❤️

The Aliquippa School District is proud to announce that Craig’s Closet, a program of The Cameron Heyward Foundation, is coming to Aliquippa!

Even more exciting, the Aliquippa School District will be the FIRST school district in Beaver County to partner with Craig’s Closet!

👔 What is Craig’s Closet?

Craig’s Closet provides FREE dress clothing to high school boys for job interviews, internships, banquets, formal events, and other important opportunities. The program helps ensure that access to professional clothing is never a barrier for a student preparing for an important moment or taking the next step toward his future.

Beyond providing clothing, Craig’s Closet helps young men build confidence, self-esteem, and professional readiness as they prepare for life beyond high school.

At the Aliquippa School District, we are always looking for opportunities, resources, and meaningful partnerships that help our students thrive. We remain committed to opening doors, removing barriers, and providing our students with opportunities that prepare them for success in school, college, careers, and life.

We are excited to welcome Craig’s Closet and The Cameron Heyward Foundation to the Aliquippa School District and Quip Nation! 🖤❤️

Another opportunity. Another barrier removed. Another investment in our students.
