Bon Meade LFL #124961 "The best books are shared." Read, return, repeat! Run by Steward Lighann L. & Family A little free library offers free books, always.

We do appreciate when people swap out a book for another book as it keeps our stock flowing. It is not necessary to always bring a book in order to take one, but we do ask that you not take more than 2 or 3 at a time so everyone can enjoy the library. Anything we place in the library is FOR YOU, unless it is decorations, or otherwise specified on our page. We greatly appreciate our visitors, because without you, we wouldn't be able to have such an amazing array of reading materials!

A fun little craft that's simple and takes little effort even for smaller hands!

Need:
*construction paper, old books, or unused cardstock (any of these will work)
*scissors
*glue stick or hot glue gun
*string and beads (optional)

Trace your ghost shape and cut it out. Use that shape to trace out the rest of your ghosts. To make the free-standing ghosts, you don't need to fold the paper. I added glitter to mine. You can paint them or draw faces or leave them as is.

For the hanging ghosts, you'll want to fold your paper in half and trace half of the ghost and cut them so both sides are even. You will then take 4 or 5 cut out ghosts, fold them, and glue the back of each fold to each other. Before you close the last fold, place your string and glue closed. Hang your ghosts!

Reminder: We are NOT a public library. We DO take book donations. That being said, if you borrow a book from Moon Township Public Library or any of the schools' libraries, please don't leave it inside our library as we are not affiliated with them. I don't return them. They will sit inside my library until someone else takes it or you come back for it, which will lead to you owing a late fee.

This is not the first (or 4th time) this has happened. Unless the bar code is properly marked out and a withdrawn is stamped inside the book, I can only assume these are still in active rotation. Please return them responsibly 😊

We'll be adding those Halloween books over the next few days! I just got back from visiting my youngest at college so I'm a little behind on stocking books. Sharing a few photos of life around her campus.
