🚗 Roadmap Back to School

Stop #5: 1:1 Student Devices 💻

Lovejoy ISD is excited to continue our 1:1 Chromebook Program for students in grades 5–12 during the 2026–2027 school year!

Technology is an important part of the learning experience, and every student in grades 5–12 will receive a district-issued Chromebook to support learning both in and out of the classroom.

💻 Chromebook Distribution
Students will receive their Chromebook during 2nd period on the first day of school. Devices will already be waiting in each 2nd period classroom, making distribution quick and easy.

🎓 Lovejoy High School (Grades 9–12)

📚 Sloan Creek Intermediate (Grades 5–6)

🐆 Willow Springs Middle School (Grades 7–8)

💡 Roadmap Tip: There's no need to visit a separate pickup location! Simply report to your scheduled 2nd period class, where your assigned Chromebook will be waiting for you.

🚨 Lovejoy Leopards are making waves... literally! 🐆🎣

A huge shoutout to Lovejoy alumni Ben Burns ('22) and Grant Pursifull ('24) for making history on the national stage!

The Stephen F. Austin duo has become the first team ever to repeat as Bassmaster College All-Americans, earning back-to-back Legends Trail Team of the Year titles and another shot at the College Classic Bracket! 🏆🏆

Their success is a testament to relentless work ethic, teamwork, resilience, and the championship mindset that continues long after graduation.

From the classrooms and halls of Lovejoy High School to competing with the nation's best collegiate anglers, Ben and Grant are proving that Leopards don't just chase dreams, they catch them.

Congratulations, Ben and Grant! Your Lovejoy family is incredibly proud of you and can't wait to see what's next. Go make more history!

The fine arts inspire creativity, build confidence, and give students the opportunity to discover their unique talents. Whether it's performing on stage, creating a masterpiece, playing an instrument, or expressing themselves through dance, our students shine when they're given the chance to create.

At Lovejoy ISD, the arts are more than an extracurricular, they're an essential part of the student experience.

A great school day starts with a nutritious meal! The Lovejoy ISD Student Nutrition Team is ready to welcome students back for another fantastic year.

🍽️ 2026–2027 Student Meal Prices

🧸 Elementary: $3.75

📚 Intermediate & Middle School: $4.25
⭐ Premium Meal: $5.00

🎓 High School: $4.75
⭐ Premium Meal: $5.50

💳 Funding Your Student's Meal Account

Student meal accounts can be funded online through MySchoolBucks.

Beginning July 31, 2026, the MySchoolBucks transaction fee will increase from $3.50 to $3.75 per transaction due to increased payment processing and operational costs.

📌 Helpful Reminders:
✅ Maximum online deposit: $240 per transaction
✅ Funds can be transferred between siblings by contacting Student Nutrition.
✅ Want to avoid the online transaction fee? Checks are accepted by cafeteria cashiers at no additional cost.

From learning about our rich tradition of excellence to experiencing the incredible culture that makes Lovejoy so special, our newest educators and staff took their first steps in what we know will be an amazing journey.
