During tonight's training meeting at a local church, primary searches, door management, ventilation, and internal communication exercises were conducted. Firefighters used our fog machine to simulate smoke-filled rooms, locating the source during primary searches. They then ventilated the rooms, employing door management to prevent smoke spread to other areas, and ultimately, ventilated the entire building using vent fans.

We recently hosted Hazmat training at our last meeting, focusing on continuing education for our Hazardous Materials Operations-certified firefighters. The training included practical exercises, such as donning and doffing Class A and B hazmat suits, hazard recognition, and decontamination procedures for firefighters exiting hazardous environments.
