🍂🎃 Cedarbrook Fountain Hill has had an AWESOME October so far! 🧡✨

Our residents have been keeping busy with lots of fun and festive activities! 💕 Residents made Friendship Bracelets 🧵, enjoyed some October Coloring fun 🎨, and celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Month with our Pink Out Ice Cream Social, complete with delicious sundaes! 🍨🎀

Our Baking Bonanza crew also got into the fall spirit by making delicious No-Bake Pumpkin Pies! 🥧🎃 Nothing says autumn quite like a little pumpkin goodness! 🍂😋

We also celebrated our October birthdays during our monthly Birthday Party, complete with plenty of smiles and birthday cheer! 🎂🎉 To round out the fun, residents got creative with our Fall Door Decor, designing beautiful autumn-inspired decorations to brighten up their spaces! 🍁🚪🧡

We’re loving all the smiles, creativity, tasty treats, and wonderful memories being made this October! 🥰🍂

🍂🎃 Cedarbrook Fountain Hill has been enjoying the fall season with some fun activities! 🍁✨

Our residents got creative during Crafty Corner: Fall Sunburst Mirrors ☀️🍂, made beautiful jewelry during our Beads for Breast Cancer Awareness Month program 🎀💗, and enjoyed some delicious food and drinks at our Oktoberfest C***r & Strudel Social 🥨🍎☕!

From crafting and creativity to sweet treats and socializing, we’ve been making wonderful memories and celebrating the beauty of fall! 🧡🍁🍂

Ok, we will try this again as the Sept 28 shutdown was postponed. Per the E-Wing project construction team, starting Monday Oct 5, 2026, the ambulance entrance on the frontside of D-Wing will be closed for an extended period of time as part of the approved DOH E-Wing plans. We did this same exercise in the Summer of 2023, much earlier in the project. The new temporary ambulance entrance will be the C-Wing rear patio entrance. There will be parking spots next to the outdoor freezer designated for those visitors who absolutely require ramp access due to wheelchair or walker usage. A snapshot of this is pasted below. Otherwise, visitors will continue to park in the D-Wing lot and access the building through the D-Wing side entrance near security. Thank you for your patience. We are getting closer to completion out there!

✨🏰 Cedarbrook Fountain Hill enjoyed a truly magical week during our Disney Theme Week! 🏰✨

Our residents got creative with Mickey Art 🎨🐭, enjoyed a fun-filled Beauty and the Beast Bingo with a very special visit from Princess Belle 🌹👸, who handed out beautiful roses to our residents! 💕🌹

The magic continued when the Bethlehem Garden Club joined us to create Bippity Boppity Bouquets! 💐✨ Residents had fun putting together their own beautiful floral creations and adding a little extra enchantment to the week! 🪄🌸

Residents also took a virtual trip to Magic Kingdom using our new Rendever Virtual Reality Headsets! 🎢🏰✨ From exploring the parks to experiencing the sights and sounds of Disney, it was an adventure right here at Cedarbrook! 🎠🌟

What a magical week filled with creativity, adventure, smiles, and memories! ✨💙🏰

🎶✌️ Can You Dig It? Groovy Times at Cedarbrook Allentown! ✌️🎶

Our residents had a far-out time at our "Can You Dig It?" 70s-themed Restorative & Life Enrichment Collaboration Program! 🌼🕺

The afternoon was filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of groovy activities. Residents showed off their dance moves, searched for hidden jewels, rang bells to the beat, and enjoyed friendly competition and social engagement along the way. 💎🔔💃

Programs like these help promote physical activity, cognitive stimulation, and meaningful social connections, all while creating wonderful memories and lots of smiles.

A big thank you to our Restorative and Life Enrichment teams for working together to make this event such a success!

💜 Walking Together for a Cause That Matters 💜

The Cedarbrook Allentown team proudly participated in the Alzheimer’s Walk, coming together to support individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

We are grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside our community, honor those impacted by Alzheimer’s, and help raise awareness for this important cause. Every step represents hope, compassion, and our commitment to making a difference. 💜🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

One highlight was when residents enjoyed our 2nd Life Enrichment & Restorative collaboration with our Magic Kingdom Movement Tour! 🎠💫

🎵 Fantasia Warm-Up – Stretch, reach, and get moving! 🪄

⭐ Peter Pan Flight – A magical walking adventure! 🧚‍♂️✨

🍵 Mad Tea Party – Practice balance and walker skills! 🎩

🚀 Buzz Lightyear Laser Toss – Aim, toss, and help Buzz complete his mission! 🌟

⭐ Catch a Wishing Star – Reach, grab, and collect the stars! ✨

⚔️ Sword in the Stone Ring Toss – Test your aim and toss those rings! 🏰

❄️ Elsa & Olaf Freeze & Breathe – Relax, breathe, and cool down! ⛄💙

💦🍓 After all their hard work, residents got to enjoy some refreshing fruit-infused water to cool down and stay hydrated! 🍊🍓🍋
