Mack Defense, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mack Trucks and part of the Volvo group, is responsible for the sale of heavy duty trucks to federal and ministerial-level customers globally. Focused in the medium to heavy-duty tactical wheeled-vehicle solutions in support of DoD customers including the M917A3 Heavy Dump Truck program and is being positioned as the preferred wheeled vehicle OEM in the g

overnment and military market segments.. Mack Defense provides products via contracts with the General Services Administration (GSA) and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Heavy Equipment Procurement Program (HEPP). Applications are not limited to but include the following: cargo trucks, water/fuel tankers, wrecker/recovery platforms, heavy haul tractors, refuse trucks plus others.

The Allentown Hometown Heroes Banner Program is a meaningful tribute dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Mack Defense is proud to support this community initiative by sponsoring banners that recognize the service and sacrifice of local veterans. This year, we are honored to pay tribute to Bernard J. O’Brian, U.S. Army, World War II; Sgt. Leo Jay Fetzer, U.S. Army, World War II; and Sgt. Raymond W. “Moon” Tretter, U.S. Air Force, Korean War.
