Our Big Blue Bay swimming pool is open from the end of May until the end of August. We offer Red Cross Swim Lessons each summer for 5 year olds through level 5. For more information, please call 308-762-2384.

Due to the current weather conditions and the forecast for this morning, the City of Alliance has decided to cancel level three swimming lessons for today. If additional instructional time is necessary, that time will be made-up on Saturday, June 6th. Please call the Knight Museum with any questions you may have at 762-2384.

Big Blue Bay is tentatively scheduled to open Monday, May 25th if weather and water temperature permit. The Knight Museum will be open for pool
pass sales on Memorial Day from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm only. May 25th will also be the final day for swim lesson registration.

Hours of operation at the pool are as follows:
Noon -1:00 pm Adult lap swim and 5 & under zero depth swim
1:00 -5:00 pm Open swim
5:00 -6:00 pm Adult swim and 5 and under zero depth swim. Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Be sure to save this date for a fun time at Laing Lake! Free hot dogs and fun prizes! The Alliance Police Dept, Alliance Fire Dept, Nebraska Game and Parks, along with Black Hills Energy are joining up to provide a good time for all. Free will donations accepted. May 29th 10:00 am. Ages 16 and up must have a valid fishing license.
