On Wednesday, September 16, there will be another FREE professional development opportunity to the library for nonprofits serving Pamlico County. This workshop will focus on creating a GivingTuesday campaign that connects with your community, attracts new donors, re-engages current supporters, and builds lasting relationships.

Participants will leave with practical tools, messaging ideas, templates, and an action plan they can begin putting to work right away.

This Pathway to Success program at the Pamlico County Library is made possible by Imagine Pamlico and the Pamlico Small Business Center.

“If I’m remembered 100 years from now, I hope it will be not for looks but for books.” - Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton was goodness personified. Through her love of literacy and children, she helped put books into the hands and homes of millions of children across communities around the world, including right here in the county.

As a public library, we can think of few greater legacies. Her belief that every child deserves the opportunity to grow up with books will continue to open doors, spark imaginations, and change lives for generations to come.

She hoped to be remembered for the books. We certainly will.
