Our truck project continues to move forward at Fyr-Tek Inc. It's turning out to be one heck of a nice truck that will serve our department and district very well.

Sandhills State Bank is proud to donate $5,000 to the Alliance Volunteer Fire Department for their incredible dedication during the devastating spring 2026 fires. These crews fought tirelessly to protect their neighbors, communities, and land — often pushing equipment and resources to the limit. We're honored to support them as they recover and continue to serve.

This donation is part of 20 awards totaling $100,000 to fire departments across Western Nebraska, made possible in part through a matching grant from FHLBank Topeka's CARE Program.

Thank you to every firefighter who was there when it mattered most. 🙏

During National EMS Week, we recognize and thank the dedicated Emergency Medical Services professionals who provide critical care when it matters most.

From life-saving response in emergencies to compassionate care in difficult moments, our EMS personnel serve our community with skill, courage, and unwavering commitment—24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Their work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt every day. We are grateful for the essential role they play in keeping our community safe and healthy.

Please join us in showing appreciation for our EMS providers this week. 💙
