The Des Moines National Weather Service has produced a weather briefing concerning the following severe weather:
* WHAT - Heavy rainfall leading to a potential for flash flooding, especially in urban areas. Isolated severe thunderstorm risk.
* WHEN & WHERE - Heavy rain potential will impact much of central Iowa tonight through early Friday, with localized ponding and flash flooding possible. Severe risks will be over western Iowa tonight, then over southeast Iowa on Friday afternoon.

The Des Moines National Weather Service has produced a weather briefing concerning the following severe weather.

* WHAT - Dangerous heat and humidity. Heat indices of 100 to over 110°F possible. Strong to severe thunderstorm chances return.

* WHERE - For the heat, much of central Iowa. For the thunderstorms, mainly over northern Iowa tonight, then possible over northern into central Iowa late Sunday into Monday.



* WHEN - Heat begins today and lasts through Monday, with the hottest temperatures expected on Sunday. Storms will be possible tonight and again from late Sunday into early Monday.

values up to 110 possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southern and central into eastern Iowa.
